Lists for Writers app good for

I wasnt entirely convinced the reviews were honest, but as a very quick go to, it certainly helps keep me focused when I hit a brief block when creating characters or possible scenarios. One other reviewer said it wont write for you, which is true, but the randomizer really helps add some flavor to whatever it is you are working on, so long as you utilize it in tandem with your own creative process.

This app features various lists, some of which can serve as prompts and inspiration, or can be used to flesh out a character that has already been created. Whether you use these lists to create a new concept or expand upon older ideas, it is useful and excellent for any writer. I find myself using this app frequently.

The possibilities with this app are endless! Youll never be the same writer again! I suggest this to all writers!!! :)

Or should I say "fantabulous" or "marvelous"? So many words to choose from! I write ALL the time, but I often find myself reaching for a thesaurus because Im tired of using the same old word. Lists for Writers solves that problem and then some. I also used to spend hours searching for names - enough that my search history looked like I was trying to name a baby - which I no longer have to do. This app is a lifesaver and a timesaver!

This helped me so much in my writing. There are so many lists with so much information. This is the cure to writers block! 5 stars all the way!

Its a great app, perfect for all of those who create stories, even if those stories are in the form of an RP, seeing theres a list of powers. Its a useful app, but I think it could have more lists. Some British jargon to go along with that Aussie slang, please.

Some bad moments

I got this app thinking it would be more of a character development organizer based off the images and description. That concept sounded like the app of my dreams. But alas all I received were useless lists I could easily achieve for free off the internet. It would have been nice if I were able to click on a category and then type in character information instead of having to skip over to the notes section every time. I know what you are thinking: "Why dont you just use a notebook instead of the notes section then? Then it would not only be much faster for you but more organized. Plus, typing on an Iphone is a grueling process nomatter how you look at it, Soubs37484488484." Well, that may be true, but let me tell you what else is true: carrying around a notebook at all times is terrible. It would be nice to put everything into something as small and transportable as an Iphone. It would be way better than having 200 notebooks or notepads for 200 different stories. If you are of the 15% of the American population that has no access to internet, bless your soul, then just maybe this app is for you. For the rest of you, this app is nothing the world hasnt seen before and is overpriced. Even after trying to use this in my usual writing for the past few days it has done basically nothing for me.

This app looks good If only I could start using it, so I choose everything I need from the lists and then what? Where do I collect my selections? A step by step would work specially if you want this app to be used by school age children

I had been looking for an app that would give me pre-sorted categories and suggestions that I could opt to fill in with my own information. This app has a very limited selection of names and ideas that can be used in stories. I could find better suggestions on my own without the use of this app. I never would have wasted my money had I known.

First off all: the lists are ok to bring you on some ideas, but only the list of the characteristcs is with explanation, which describes how the character is, this can safe time! At next in app store is written, that the app supports many languages, but it is only in english In addition to this i would wish me one added character Creator, which is organisized at the structure of the lists, so that every list could be added in a field of text (you simple click in that field characteristics than the list opens and you can simply add the attitude of the character by clicking on the a +. Let me put it in a nutshale without german language support and only that lists of characteristics with explanations in my opinion its value is not 2,99€ But dont missunderstand me: The app has potential and if you regard this 2 facts, it can become one of the writers top apps

I am surprised by the very positive reviews this app has garnered. The content could fit on a few napkins. It consists of nothing more than 37 categories, each with a list of words or phrases. Some lists are very brief - the Conflicts list has eight entries (man against man, man against nature,...) and Id hazard to say that none are useful to a professional writer. The list of names, which might have been useful, is merely a long, alphabetical list, unsorted by ethnicity or year of popularity. There are much better resources available on the internet, or in books. This app is not worth the money, or even the screen space.

Very clean and nice, but most importantly, very helpful. Descriptions and character details are a breeze with this app!
